Does AIC Cloud provide Windows Server ISO or do I need to bring my own?
Windows Server is available via support-assisted setup — you provide your license (BYOL) and we mount the ISO for you. This is because Microsoft licensing terms make direct Windows resale complex. For Linux VPS, you can self-provision instantly via the order page.
Which AIC Cloud VPS plan handles Windows Server best?
Minimum: 4 GB RAM (₹399/mo Essential). Windows Server has higher base RAM requirements than Linux. For heavy workloads (SQL Server, IIS with .NET apps, multiple RDP users), 8 GB or 16 GB is recommended. Windows itself uses 2-3 GB before your app runs.
Can I run Windows Server 2019, 2022, or 2025 on AIC Cloud VPS?
Yes — all recent Windows Server versions run on our KVM virtualisation. Windows Server 2022 is our default recommendation for new installations (extended support until 2031). Older versions (2016, 2019) also work if you have license needs.

What Windows applications can I run on AIC Cloud VPS?
Anything Windows Server supports: IIS + ASP.NET, SQL Server (Express or licensed), Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, File/Print servers, PowerShell automation, .NET applications, legacy Windows-only business software. Not suitable for GPU workloads — use our /cloud-gpu for that.
