Free public URL on every VPS

Every AIC Cloud VPS is auto-assigned a free HTTPS URL like k7m4x.aiccloud.online the moment it's provisioned. No cloudflared, no config, no port forwarding. Point your own domain via CNAME and TLS auto-issues via Let's Encrypt.

Your public URL

Find your VPS's public URL in the dashboard on the VPS detail page under the “Public URL” card.

Format: <slug>.aiccloud.online where <slug> is a 5-character random string we assigned to your VPS on provision (permanent).

Multi-port access

Some apps run on ports other than 80. We pre-configure our proxy to route the most common ports for you:

Default (slug.aiccloud.online) → your VPS port 80
slug-3000.aiccloud.online → your VPS port 3000
slug-5000.aiccloud.online → your VPS port 5000
slug-8080.aiccloud.online → your VPS port 8080
slug-8443.aiccloud.online → your VPS port 8443
...and 3000, 3001, 4200, 5000, 5001, 5173, 8000, 8001, 8080, 8443, 8888, 9000, 9090

All of them come with valid HTTPS thanks to our wildcard TLS certificate.

Using your own domain

Want example.com to point to your VPS? Three steps:

In your VPS dashboard → Public URL card → “Custom domain” input → add example.com. You'll get a TXT record to prove ownership.
At your DNS provider (Namecheap, GoDaddy, Cloudflare, etc.) add:
- A TXT record: _aic-verify.example.com with the value we gave you.
- A CNAME record: example.com or www.example.com → your slug.aiccloud.online.
Come back to the dashboard, click “Verify”. Once verified, TLS issues automatically on the first HTTPS request (usually within 30 seconds).

What works

Any HTTP/HTTPS web app (Node, Python, PHP, Go, static sites, WordPress...)
WebSockets (used by realtime apps, chat, live dashboards)
Automatic TLS with valid certs (Let's Encrypt)
Any subdomain depth on your custom domain

What doesn't work through the URL

The public URL forwards HTTP-based traffic only. For these you use your VPS's direct SSH host + port or a dedicated IPv4 add-on (contact support):

SSH (use the SSH port shown on the VPS card)
MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB (databases with external connections)
Mail servers (SMTP, IMAP, POP)
Game servers on custom UDP/TCP ports outside the list above

FAQ

Does traffic go through Cloudflare?

No. Our own proxy handles routing directly, no third party in the path. TLS terminates at our proxy.

Can I change my subdomain?

No — the 5-character slug is permanent per VPS. Use a custom domain if you want a memorable URL.

How fast is it?

Same DC as your VPS for Prox4 users (India VPS coming soon). Latency overhead is under 3ms.

Does the URL survive VPS reboots?

Yes. The slug is tied to your VPS record, not its running state.

Rate limits?

Fair-use tied to your VPS plan's bandwidth. Same as if you were serving traffic on a dedicated IP.

Can I disable it?

Yes — remove your custom domains and stop serving on port 80. Requests still hit our proxy but return a 502 gateway error.

What if my VPS is on an older server?

Public URL rollout to those hosts is in progress. Your slug is reserved and the URL will start working automatically within 24-48 hours.
